Thank you McKenzie for this list.

  1. Romantic relationships feels like a struggle.

“With a partner, you feel those feels to the freaken’ extreme. Clear communication and boundaries are key to navigating the dating world.

I put that as #1 on my list because at this time (I’m writing this in December 2021 but it won’t be published until April 2022, I’m seeing angel numbers, so I feel like the Universe is trying to force me to be in romance, and I don’t want to be.)

I opened up without fear, got burned being vulnerable multiple times, and came up with a list of things I rather do than follow the romantic advice of 222. (Part 2 is coming in December, and it’s worst than the first list).

(Then I faced situations while recording music/filming where guys put the make on me while trying to stay professional, and I say I’m not here for that. Not only do I have a wall up already, that turns me off even more….

It’s getting to the point where I emailed the support people on my Vision Board app, especially when I see “I have found the right partner for me, who loves me very much.” I guess they are talking about my dog?

2. We read people’s emotions.

“You’re the closest thing to a mind reader. People don’t have to tell you how they are feeling; you already know.”

3. You’re drawn to nature.

Being outdoors is like free therapy.

Yes.

4. Your intuition is otherworldly.

In other words, you know when the vibe if off. You rely heavily on that gut feeling and it almost never lets you down.

5. People confide in you.

“I don’t typically tell people this” is a phrase you likely hear often as an empath. You might also notice you break through to those who are notoriously hard to crack.”

People tell me things they don’t tell their family and friends. This.

**They also know that I keep secrets and I never will tell. As someone who’s trust have been violated by people, trust and loyalty is very important to me.

6. Sometimes, things just feel like too much

As an empath, you’re an energy absorber. So whether it’s friendships, work, school, or just life in general, you get overwhelmed easily.

7. You’re a comfort to others.

“Being an empath isn’t all rainbows and butterflies, but this is arguably one of the upsides.

8. You’re a big animal lover.

You’re not just a people person. Be honest, how many dog videos are sitting in your Tik Tok likes right now?

9. Indifference isn’t an option.

Although you probably wish it could be. Empaths tend to have strong feelings on well, everything.

10. Alone time is majorly important to you.

While you may or may not consider yourself an introvert, you find that alone time is your chance to recharge.

11. The World Makes It Like Empaths Are Too Difficult To Deal With Or Understand

I know the world has been so harsh and many have misunderstood the power of emotional intelligence, making most of us empaths feel like we’re too difficult to deal with or understand.

You’re probably always been empathic or had a difficult time with emotions and feelings. It’s almost like your feelings provide you both gifts and curses, right?

Well, truly your sensitivity is a gift as it is heightened intuition.

12. You fight for everyone else, but you wonder if someone is going to fight for you.
