This is my serious attempt to clean out my email box from my hospital stay. My emails have a lot of great knowledge from people. I’ve been holding out on all the information in my email. I want to keep the knowledge and clean my inbox. So I came up with the idea to write a blog post on these emails. Done and done. I won’t forget to delete either. Sethi’s Briefcase Technique is an awesome sauce.

Ramit Sethi’s Briefcase Technique is a very simple technique you can use to own any job interview, surprise potential clients, or negotiate a higher salary. This technique can also be used to earn thousands of dollars in salary and freelance negotiations.

The Keys To Making this technique pop:

PREPARATION separates you from other people. By taking the time to do your research, you leave great impression on your potential client or boss. They figure, hey, this person knows their stuff, so I don’t have to spend as much time showing them the ropes. It makes you attractive.

Doing your homework before you enter the interview

If you are a freelancer, send in # of materials about their potential client’s business before you enter the room.

When the person says “What’s your price”, instead of sharing your rates right away, pull out documents with problems and challenges that you’ve found in their business and a list of potential solutions. After you provide the step-by-step action plan, then tell them your price. When you add value and don’t sorely focus on money, more money will flock to you. It’s like putting less negative desperate energy for money and more positive vibes.
