Every day, in some way, opportunity knocks on your door. And if you take too long to answer, opportunity, like any visitor, will move on.
This is due to the divine and natural timing of everything.
If you pay attention, you’ll notice that everything has a rhythm. From the timing of good comedy to the way your body asks for sleep and wakes itself up.
The rhythm is everywhere, in everything and when you’re relaxed, engaged and in step with it, everything works out well.
Procrastination, however, takes you out of the natural rhythm of life.
Usually procrastination comes from fear and tension and if you’ve ever tried to dance when you’re afraid or tense, you understand how easy it can be to lose your rhythm.
Fortunately, it’s just as easy to find it again.
The next time you find yourself procrastinating, simply take a deep breath, relax your entire body, and say YES.
