Lessons I Learned In Life

- Be careful who you are vulnerable with.
- Not every one that you call a friend is a friend.
- Everyone is not going to like you, and that’s ok. Focus on the ones that like you and don’t worry about the ones who don’t.
- If you got haters, good. They wouldn’t bother you if you were nothing.
- Constructive criticism coming in a loving and supportive way from people you love and trust can help you.
- Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. You can learn from them.
- No one knows everything.
- Success is the best revenge.
- The people you judge may need a friend or need professional help.
- 9a. So many people are quick to judge a situation that they are not in themselves. Instead of gossiping, expressing avoidant or neutral behavior to someone doing questionable behavior, be the person that says “I’m worried about you.” There’s people that could’ve helped or could help but didn’t or don’t. Some people may not want to get involved because it may seem too much. Instead of taking the blind eye and turning your back on someone, be the person who cares. Looking below the surface and acting on what you see could save someone.
- Be the person to others that you wish someone was for you.
- Just because someone says they are ok doesn’t mean they are.
- If you have a strong friend, still check in on that person. They need your support too.
- When someone is going through a hard time and they ask for space, don’t take it personally.
- Stay away from toxic people.
- If someone is gossiping about other people in front of you, they are gossiping about you to other people.
- You are not going to get credit or recognition for everything you do. Do good anyway.
- People that matter to you and you do things for can still leave your life at any reason anytime.
- Don’t do things to fit in, do things to stand outside the crowd.
- Stop comparing yourself to other people. Your day #1 might be someone else’s day #500.
- If you do things for people looking for something in return, your intentions isn’t good.
- You are responsible for your own happiness. No spouse. No one else.
- Don’t lend out money that you can’t afford to lose.
- Get to know other people and cultures outside your own.
- Time doesn’t heal. You just learn to live with it.
- Grief is never ending. Some days are better than others. Other days you learn to put on a brave face.
- Make memories and have good times as often as possible.
- Life is short. Tell the people you love you love them while they are here.
- Don’t forget who you were before the world told you how to be.
- Learn how to adjust your bra straps and jockstraps. Please. I never expected to see Droopy and multiple basketballs on the street.
- A car is meant to get you from point A to B. Don’t street race in them.
- What people post on social media and what’s happening in real life can be two different things. Don’t always believe everything you see, dig a little deeper.
- Don’t give advice unless it’s asked for.
- When you learn how to be happy alone, that’s when everyone wants to be with you.
- Be aware of spies.
36. Have a backup phone.
37. Sometimes you have to be your own advocate. If health wise you are not in the position, you best get the best cheerleader in the world to advocate for you.
38. When you learn to be happy alone, that’s when everyone decides they want to be with you.
These are the posts that gave me inspiration.
