When I saw this trending on Twitter, and reading the other stories, it made me start thinking of all the times I was harassed by a guy. It's been so many times I can't even think. Or remember them all.

A recent one was during a photo shoot when guys kept cat calling me and my labelmate from my talent agency as they took photos to update my headshots. I didn’t like it at all. Or worst, the people who excuse the behavior, saying "boys will be boys." Just recently, one of my mom's friends was like "do you know how to fight" instead of acknowledging how big of an issue this is.

For me on a day to day basis, it’s guys looking at me like they want to rip my clothes off. It's entering a recording studio and watching your back because some of the guys start treating you like a sex object. In both the tech and entertainment industries, there's many cases of sexual harassment/assaults. Your sexual harassment is not a compliment, your attention is not wanted.

And on a bigger note.

I'm sorry to everyone who has been affected by sexual harassment and assault.

And.

You don't have to share your story via #metoo

Or feel pressured into sharing via #metoo

I wasn’t sure if it was my place to write this because like Wolfe, there's women out there who had to deal with way more than I have. But me too.
