I love this city and hotel so much I'm going to write about it (and blog about it).
Note: We also visited Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale before reaching Miami. I was born in ATL and love Varsity. Fort Lauderdale is a city I would consider living in because it's close to Miami. Right now Miami is a city I definitely want to live in part time.
I came to the city for a family reunion and for music but started liking it on the first day here. On the first day I realized that I definitely want to spend more time here. In the video above, I actually get lost because the hotel is so big (I found my way around the Double Tree quickly).
The very first thing I did when I came here is to eat food with my family. The Primo restaurant is very good. I had a Turkey Burger.
Side note: My hotel is for both hotel guests and residents. So you can actually live here! And it provides many services, from a grocery store, gift shops, jewelry stores, pharmacy, bank, car rental office, dentist, liquor store, fitness center, beauty salon, clothing stores and more!
I could stay at the hotel and have everything I need (but trust me I’m a road runner, I won’t stay at the hotel all the time lol.)
Being from Indianapolis, In it felt like there was a Keystone At The Crossing, Huntington Bank, A Kroger, restaurants, all connected to me.
The view from our first hotel room. (We ended up switching rooms later, but the views from any room in this hotel is beautiful).
