I wanted to actually enjoy the trolley so I was looking through the camera and shooting film at the same time.
One of the things I noticed about being in a city like Miami, New York or LA is it’s easier to connect with like-minded people in the entertainment industry (or at least that’s my experience has been). Let's put it this way: If I tell someone in Indiana that I’m acting, a lot of time they give you this weird look because they don’t see it as a career. In LA? Miami? NY? It’s embraced more. I write about it here. I really write about it in my Get A Job post.
Transportation system is awesome in Miami to the point where you can park your car. There’s the trolley which takes you where you need to go from your hotel. Even the bus system here is decent. In Indiana it’s almost like you need a car. The bus system is so so.
Also, being born in the south, raised up north, and coming back down south I definitely notice how expensive prices are. Miami is definitely a tourist city and you will pay a little bit of money for living here.
