People pleasing is a trap.
From a young age, we are told, that the right thing to do is to treat others how we would like to be treated.
But those same people forget to mention that.
That doesn’t mean that’s how they’re gonna treat us.
The way Cain sees it (and I picked this up).
People treat you based on how much they value you.
They treat you how they want to treat you.
It’s up to you to get through your head.
How they treat you is more important than how much you like them.
I wrote this in 2022, but by the time you see this it will be 2023!
