The first Black woman to ever serve on the Supreme Court of the United States is here! 🙌🏾 🙌🏾 🙌🏾

Any Black woman who has smashed through glass ceilings might smile at the top, but she’s probably nursing the wounds of the shards of glass that remain in her skin. The thousand paper cuts of microaggressions. The over-proving our worth to people who underperform their humanity. The countless times we’ve been overlooked, undervalued and over-punished.

This is HERSTORY. 🤎

We see you, SCOTUS Justice #KetanjiBrownJackson. We might not know all the battles it took for you to get here, but we thank you for your fights and for the victories. Warriors win. 👏🏾-luvvie
